New York.- The president Luis Abinader had a meeting on Thursday with executives and investors of the Council of the Americas, an opportunity in which he shared details about the economic development of the Dominican Republic and his future expectations.
In his remarks, the Head of State highlighted the political stability, economic progress and the opportunities for investors.
During the meeting, the president was accompanied by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Álvarez, and of Industry, Commerce and SMEs, Víctor -Ito- Bisonó.
Representing the Council of the Americas were Susan Segal, its president, and Andrés Gluski, chair of the Board of Directors.
Visit to Montefiore Hospital
President Abinader took advantage of his stay in New York to visit the renowned Hospital Montefiore, showing interest in its expertise in cancer management and treatment.
The head of state was accompanied by the Minister of Health, Víctor Atallah, and the Minister of Industry, Commerce and SMEs, Víctor-Ito Bisonó.
Doctors Shalom Kalnicki, Amit Verma, Mario García and Philip O. Ozuah guided President Abinader and his delegation through the facilities, showcasing the services offered to patients and the cutting-edge medicine practiced at the center.
