One of the places that undoubtedly have a great history and symbolism is the Nations Pavilion, or as many know it “the Heroes Center”. It is worth mentioning that, although the place is not currently at its peak, work is being done to recover it, which will aim to restore its majesty.
Although in the same way today the Nations Pavilion remains an important cultural center and meeting place for all who want to visit it.
Nations Pavilion: History of the historic monument
The Nations Pavilion was built in 1955, inaugurated by the dictator Rafael Leónidas Trujillo under the name of “The Peace and Confraternity Fair of the Free World”.
This is located on Enrique Jiménez Moya &, Santo Domingo, and since then it has been used for various activities ranging from cultural events, passing through patriotic celebrations, to various concerts. In this way, the Nations Pavilion becomes a symbol of Dominican identity and a wonderful space to commemorate history, art, and culture.
Transformation for new times
With the purpose of adorning, capturing attention, and achieving that many more make life in the Nations Pavilion, as has already been mentioned, its remodeling has been undoubtedly a great project that consists of architectural elements, creation of new and complete areas to serve for any exhibition, cultural or musical events.
