Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. – The Honorary Consul of Mongolia in the Dominican Republic, Miguel Calzada León, made a courtesy visit to the Vice President of the Dominican Republic, Raquel Peña, during which they held a cordial meeting in which they addressed various national and international issues.
During the meeting, a wide exchange of impressions took place on topics related to the strengthening of relations between the Dominican Republic and Mongolia, as well as opportunities for cooperation in areas of common interest, including tourism, trade, investment, connectivity, and promotion of both destinations.
Miguel Calzada León highlighted the importance of continuing to promote friendship and cooperation links between both nations, promoting new opportunities that allow for the strengthening of bilateral relations and generating mutual benefit initiatives.

They also discussed the role played by the Dominican Republic as one of the main tourist destinations in the Caribbean and the possibilities of expanding the tourist and cultural exchange with Mongolia, through promotion and approach actions between both markets.
