Tony Bennett’s children are in the news because they are disputing their inheritance, their names are Antonia and Johanna who have sued D’Andrea “Danny” Bennett, who was also their father’s manager.

The brother, who is being sued, is accused of unjust wealth, as he did not proceed legally. They claim that he did this while their father was still alive, and he continues to do so after his death.
This is what the lawsuit expresses:
“Since Tony’s death, Johanna and Antonia discovered that Danny exercised total and unrestricted control over Tony and his financial affairs before and after his death through multiple fiduciary functions and other authority functions that Danny abused and continues to abuse for his own significant economic benefit”
The lawsuit was presented in New York, where it was also said that the defendant took advantage of their father not being 100% capable, remember that the artist suffered from Alzheimer’s.
It’s not the first time they have faced justice, as a lawsuit for improper administration was presented in June.
A representative of the defendant expressed:
“This lawsuit is another unfounded attempt to distort public and judicial understanding of Tony Bennett’s clearly expressed wishes”… “Danny has followed his father’s plans with integrity and diligence, and it’s disappointing that those whom Tony supported throughout his life — and continues to support through his legacy — now question Danny’s integrity with unfounded and baseless claims”.
