SNTP Santo Domingo Oeste successfully carried out the swearing-in of its new board of directors for the period 2025-2027 in an event held at the Manlio Bobadilla club, which was attended by prominent figures from the political, social, sports, and communication fields. This activity reaffirms the union’s commitment to strengthening the trade union and dignifying the professional exercise of journalism.

The inaugural act began at seven in the evening under the coordination of Geovanny Ventura and the conduct of Sorangel Moya, a communicator, with the blessing of Reverend Henry Minaya. The artistic opening was in charge of master Ramón Martínez and his typical group, who gave a cultural touch to the event.
The SNTP Santo Domingo Oeste swore in its new general secretary, Master América Pérez, whose intervention focused on the vision of unity and commitment for the next two years. Along with her, the elected members were officially ratified and new professionals from the guild joined, such as Johan Severino, Yalibel Mejía, Evelyn Domínguez, Carmen Mariel González Mejía, Luis José Sánchez, and Juan López, thus strengthening the team with different communication profiles.

After concluding the protocolary act, the SNTP Santo Domingo Oeste celebrated its traditional Christmas party, in which more than a hundred guests participated, including journalists, communicators, municipal authorities, deputies, councilors, and community leaders. The evening was animated by Jonathan Reynoso and Edward Calderón, with special presentations by the double of Michael Jackson, Ico, and the double of Chayanne, as well as live music by accordionist Radhamés López, creating a festive and camaraderie atmosphere.
