With a 2-1 lead over the Mauricio Báez team in the best-of-5 series, the San Lázaro team will look to seal its victory this Monday at the Mauricianas’ home at 6:30 p.m.
The Jobo Bonito squad achieved a decisive 74-49 win over Villa Juana in the previous game, thanks to the standout performances of Yaira Faneyte and Angie Hodge, who scored 15 and 14 points respectively.
Faneyte also grabbed 5 rebounds and Hodge, 6.
Génesis Evangelista stood out as the most offensive player of the Mauricio Báez team, recording 17 points and 4 rebounds.
The Lazareñas team secured a narrow win in the first game of the final (78-77) and the Mauricianas prevailed in the second (77-72).
The Mauricio Báez team will try to defend its title, which it has held since 2022. The previous year, they triumphed over the Águilas de Guachupita.
