Statements from officials
Raquel Peña highlighted the importance of strengthening sports spaces and noted that the initiatives are part of the actions driven by the Government. “Everything that comes to complement sports is a responsibility of President Luis Abinader, who has always been committed to honouring his word”, she explained.
Kelvin Cruz emphasized that during the two years he has been at the helm of Miderec, 64 sports works have been delivered, attributing it to the support of President Abinader. “In just two years and a few days that we have been at the helm of Miderec, we have given a serious demonstration of what can be done when we want, and that, when we have the support of a president like Luis Abinader, things become very easy”, he stated.
