A security camera video has provided new clues to the investigation of the Naome Fleurante case, a one-year-old girl who lost her life after being hit by a projectile in the Cristinita sector of Verón. The video, obtained by Bávaro Digital, shows several people and vehicles moving through the area where the incident occurred, and authorities will have to analyze the material to determine the participation of each person.
The images, recorded at 9:23:38 PM, offer investigators a visual reference to reconstruct the minutes leading up to the incident and compare those movements with the versions collected during the inquiries. However, the video alone does not establish who was responsible for the incident, and that determination corresponds to the authorities through the analysis of the images, testimonies, and other evidence collected.
According to information obtained by Ola News, the authorities would already have identified two men who allegedly moved on a motorcycle and who attempted to strip a man known as “Picu” of his belongings, who was moving in a vehicle through the sector. In the middle of that situation, one of the individuals would have carried out a projectile detonation that reached the interior of the residence and hit the little Naome.
Naome was taken to the General Hospital of Verón-Punta Cana approximately at 9:45 PM, where she arrived without vital signs and with a wound caused by a projectile. The incident occurred while the girl was inside the dwelling, an element that forms part of the reconstruction that investigators are carrying out.
The authorities will have to analyze the images and determine the participation of each person involved in the incident. While the process continues, the investigators are maintaining the follow-up on the two men who allegedly moved on the motorcycle and are working with the other available evidence to clarify the Naome Fleurante case completely.
