María Trinidad Sánchez. Recently Nagua dawned in a different color, literally. More than 500 people gathered at the Hotel Boutique del Lago to be part of Nagua In Color 5K 2026, a day that with each edition refines its proposal and confirms that in this city sports, family, and entertainment have found their own language.
The course had color as its protagonist. At each stretch, participants walked and ran among clouds of pigment, music, animation, and massive photographs that transformed the atmosphere into a collective celebration. The circuit was just the starting point: gastronomic areas, activities for children, DJs, live music, and commercial activations completed a celebration that extended on its own.
What stood out the most for the attendees was the atmosphere: safe, lively, without pretensions. People of different generations remained for hours without anyone seeming to be in a hurry. That doesn’t happen by accident, it’s the sign of a well-thought-out proposal from the inside.
The activity was organized by Machuca Entertainment and MTS Infinito, in collaboration with ASHORENA, with the goal of promoting platforms that strengthen the recreational offer of the Northeast and demonstrate that Nagua has logistical, tourist, and commercial muscle.
The event had the support of allied brands and institutions, including the Ministry of Tourism, Listín Diario, Amadita Laboratorio Clínico, Air Century, PedidosYa, VitaSalud, Dolo-Neurobión, Michelob Ultra, and Spazzola Color Shop, among others.
In an event where the body moves and the sun doesn’t spare, Cool Heaven and Generade took on the official hydration, guaranteeing that the day’s energy didn’t wane at any stretch.
Nagua In Color 5K is not an isolated event. It’s part of a vision that MTS Infinito and Machuca Entertainment have been building with intention: to generate experiences that awaken local pride, connect entertainment, tourism, and community, and put a value on what makes Nagua and the Northeast different from the rest of the country.
Before this celebration, both platforms brought to life Mujeres Infinitas, a meeting that brought together over 300 women in a day of empowerment, learning, and inspiration, and made it clear that in Nagua there is a public willing to live experiences with purpose, quality, and production worthy of great stages.
What’s to come also has a shape. MTS Fashion Week arrives in November 2026 with the intention of installing in Nagua the first major fashion event in the Northeast, attracting designers, brands, and national public to a region that is demonstrating that it has much more to offer.
Nagua doesn’t need permission to be the scene of great experiences. Nagua In Color 5K made it clear once again: more than 500 people, color, music, brands, and community working together as if it had always been that way. This city is not emerging, it’s confirming its potential.
