Santo Domingo, DR.- The 3×3 basketball team \”Los Terribles\” of La Vega was crowned champion in the 2025 Red Bull Half Court National 3×3 Basketball Tournament, held in Santo Domingo. This victory marks the second consecutive year that La Vega has taken the championship, following a final full of tension and excitement.

In an adrenaline‑filled game, “Los Terribles” secured the win with a score of 11‑10 against the National District team, thanks to a crucial shot that gave them the national championship. Now, the team is preparing to represent the Dominican Republic in the international competition of Red Bull Half Court in Dubai, where they will compete against the world’s top teams.

The winning roster included Yoleison Mejía Holguín, Junior Ventura, Enmanuel De Jesús Cruz and Henry Samuel Núñez Henríquez. During a press conference after the tournament, the members of Los Terribles expressed their gratitude and resolve: “Father God was with us, we came with the intention to win and we didn’t stop fighting until the last second,” they said.

The event, which took place at Güibia Beach in Santo Domingo, featured the presence of Chris Matthews, also known as Lethal Shooter, a prominent NBA coach, invited as an honorary guest. Matthews showcased his impressive live shooting skills and was responsible for handing out the grand prize: tickets to the world final in Dubai.

Additionally, the event was highlighted by a special performance by Éxodo Lirical, national freestyle champion, who dazzled the audience with an improvisation session alongside artists KDT and Shield Master, adding a rhythm‑filled and exciting atmosphere to the basketball competition day.

The 2025 edition of Red Bull Half Court generated great enthusiasm among attendees, completely filling the capacity at Güibia Beach, an iconic spot in Santo Domingo overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
