The Flappy Bird Foundation emerges as the entity behind this revived Flappy Bird, noting that Dong Nguyen, who was the creator of the original application, is not part of this new venture. Through a video shared on YouTube, the current game administrators revealed a sample of what users can expect from this updated version.
Flappy Bird will offer the iconic game mode that captured global attention suddenly, but it will go further. On the official game site, the incorporation of new scenarios, characters, and even a multiplayer mode is announced, thus expanding the proposal to make it even more seductive for both veterans who enjoyed the game a decade ago and new users who will discover it for the first time.
According to a report by IGN, Flappy Bird will be launched at the end of October in web and desktop versions. Later, applications for iPhone and Android will be released, although these will not be available until 2025.
