In Bajos de Haina, the president Luis Abinader and the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, inaugurate this Monday the first stage of the Boulevard of Health with an investment exceeding RD$165 million, marking a milestone in the recovery of public spaces for more than 83,582 residents.
The importance of the Boulevard of Health in Haina
The Boulevard of Health transforms 27,820 square meters into an integral landscape intervention zone, integrating pedestrian paths, green areas, and urban furniture that improve the quality of life of the community.
This work of the Boulevard of Health not only offers recreation, but also establishes a new standard of urban development in the San Cristobal province, with an amphitheater, a basketball court, and parking for 33 vehicles.

Second stage: Boulevard of Health and community center
The future planning of the project contemplates that, in its second stage, the Boulevard of Health will be extended with a community center to offer integrated services to the residents of Haina.
With more than RD$780 million invested in previous works in the municipality, this new Boulevard of Health represents a firm step towards the environmental and social improvement of Bajos de Haina.
