Housing: President Luis Abinader delivered this Thursday 224 apartments of the second stage of the Laderas del Este project, in the San Antonio de Guerra municipality, financed in part by Banreservas. Banreservas Bank financed the acquisition of 197 units for an amount exceeding RD$466.00 million. During the delivery ceremony, the head of state valued the financing conditions set by Banreservas so that the population can access mortgage credits.
Dr. Leonardo Aguilera, Executive President of Banreservas, said that the banking entity provided an interim financing of RD$900.00 million for the development of the Laderas del Este project. “We are helping to move a complete chain of economic activity: construction, employment, suppliers, services, and new opportunities for the communities where these projects are developed.”, he stated.
Housing and economic growth
The banking executive specified that when we talk about growth, it must become something that people can feel in their daily lives, that’s why, from Banreservas, we will continue to support the housing development vision that President Luis Abinader is promoting and supporting, both those who build and those who seek to fulfill the goal of having their own home.
Similarly, Aguilera recognized the work done by Fasa Constructores and by the developers Fabio Santoni, Pedro Bonilla, as well as the responsible coordination of the Ministry of Housing and Buildings and all the teams that have intervened in this new stage of the Laderas del Este project.
Social impact
He concluded that the delivered apartments cease to be part of a construction project and become part of personal stories, where there will be birthdays, family reunions, first steps, and memories. This second delivery of the Laderas del Este project represents a concrete action to reduce the housing deficit in the Dominican Republic, a reality that evidences well-being and quality of life for the thousands of families who have made the dream of buying a home a reality.
Attendees included legislative, provincial, and municipal authorities, as well as executives from Banreservas, the Ministry of Housing and Buildings, and the companies responsible for raising the aforementioned housing project.
