The most relevant figure is that the Deligne Ascención assemblies were held in 152 municipalities, 224 municipal districts, and the three constituencies of the National District, representing 95% of the party organizations convened in this stage of the XXIV Ordinary National Convention. This level of coverage demonstrates a high territorial commitment and efficient organization.

Strategic impact of the Deligne Ascención assemblies

The process is part of the internal work carried out by the party to complete the election of its leadership bodies corresponding to the 2026-2028 period. The renewal of leadership in 379 bodies (152 municipalities + 224 districts) establishes a solid foundation for future political management.

Challenges and projection in Deligne Ascención assemblies

Although coverage was broad, the 5% of bodies not convened or not active could represent a logistical challenge for party inclusion. The CNEI has maintained an approach of transparency and efficiency, aligned with the tradition of the Deligne Ascención assemblies and the national convention.

The XXIV Ordinary National Convention, dedicated in honor of José Rafael Abinader Wasaf, includes additional phases such as the final stage scheduled for Sunday, September 4 at the Sheraton Hotel, where the final aspects of the convention will be defined.

In conclusion, Deligne Ascención assemblies represent a milestone in the internal democratization of the PRM, with massive participation and an atmosphere of consensus that guarantees the institutional continuity of the party in the Dominican Republic.
