O&M FC won 2-1 against club Atlético Pantoja in a match held at the Parque del Este stadium, as part of the fourteenth matchday of the current LDF season.
The first half ended 0-0, with opportunities for both teams. During the second half, the university team took the lead thanks to a shot by Josue Báez that Alessandro Baroni failed to contain, allowing Sergio Paredes to capitalize on the rebound to score 1-0 in the sixty-third minute.

The equalizer for the Pantoja team came thanks to an impressive header by Arichell Hernández in the ninety-plus-third minute, but just four minutes later, thanks to an excellent play down the left by Richerly De Los Santos, Iván Pérez, the Argentine, managed to shoot with his left foot scoring 2-1 in favor of the university team in the ninety-seventh minute, thus securing the three points of the capital derby.

Yunior Peralta, of Cibao FC, pursued by Samir de la Rosa, of Atlético de San Cristóbal.

In second position
With this triumph, O & M FC consolidates its second position in the LDF with 26 points, while Club Atlético Pantoja is positioned in sixth place with 18 points.

Triumph for the Delfines
Club Delfines del Este achieved a crucial 1-0 victory against Moca FC, which played as the home team at the Junior Mejía stadium in Jarabacoa.

Yessy Mena, the experienced goalscorer, was the author of the only goal, after receiving an excellent pass from Esmailin Segura. With this goal, the Colombian Mena accumulates five goals in the season.

Moca FC intensified its search for the equalizer in the second half, however, they failed to overcome the solid defense established by the Delfines’ coaching staff.

With this victory over Moca FC, Delfines del Este reached 19 points, tying Moca, which has one less game, pending against Atlético San Cristóbal.

Cibao FC maintains the lead
Current champion Cibao FC won by a resounding 5-0 against Atlético San Cristóbal in a match held at the auxiliary field of PUCMM in Santiago de Los Caballeros.

The goals for the cibaeños were scored by Yunior Peralta in the 26th minute, Carlos Heredia in the 34th, Edwarlyn Reyes in the 78th, Rivaldo Correa in the 86th, and finishing the tally, Colombian Juan David Díaz in the 90 plus 3.

Forward Rivaldo Correa reached ten goals, tying with Leo Becerra of club Atlético Pantoja. Offensive midfielder Carlos Heredia has scored in two consecutive matches for Cibao FC. The orange team remains at the top of the LDF with 30 points, while Atlético San Cristóbal is last with just one point.

An unfavorable outlook
In the NBA, several international and national coaches were wrong and will probably be wrong in writing off Dallas for the finals.
