PUNTA RUCIA.– The Isabela Bay Education and Sport Foundation led a heartwarming community event, bringing happiness and smiles to 147 children from the communities of Punta Rucia, Tiburcio, and Puerto Juanita on December 18 and 19.
According to a statement released, the foundation organized this activity, which consisted of gifts and entertainment for the children, providing them with memorable moments during this festive season.
This noble effort was led by Melissa Hernández, president of the foundation, and Hugo Alfonso Pérez, vice president, who reiterated their commitment to the progress and well-being of vulnerable communities in the northern Dominican Republic.

“It fills us with satisfaction to contribute to the happiness of these children and their families. We are focused on making a positive impact on their development through education and sports, alongside supportive initiatives like this one,” Hernández stated during the event.
Pérez, on his part, highlighted the crucial importance of creating environments where children can feel appreciated and protected, arguing that these activities strengthen social cohesion and foster solidarity and hope.
