The Curaçao team was crowned winner of the Latin American Little League Tournament after securing a 3-2 victory against Venezuela in an event that paid tribute to Samuel Pereyra, administrator of the Banco de Reservas, and Aramis Ramírez, former Major League Baseball player.
The final took place at the prominent complex of the Academia La Javilla.
Seah Serveri, the starting pitcher, delivered an exceptional performance on the mound, managing to shut down the powerful Venezuelan offense.
Curaçao finished the tournament undefeated with a record of 5 wins.

Sherman Jacobs won the Most Valuable Player award and Seah Serveri was recognized as the best pitcher.

In the final match of the tournament, the Curaçao squad stood out for its strong offense, led by Sherman Jacobs, who drove in 2 of his team’s 3 runs thanks to a double and a single.
Jacobs received the honor of Most Valuable Player thanks to his outstanding performance both at bat and on defense.

The trophy presentation ceremony for Curaçao was handled by César Cedeño, Junior Noboa, David Brito, Diógenes de la Cruz, and John Carmona.
Norma Díaz, a prominent figure in the promotion of sports, threw the ceremonial first pitch.
