Abinader asserts dollar exchange rate shows downward trend

Santo Domingo.- National leader Luis Abinader commented again on Monday regarding the variations in the value of the peso against the dollar, indicating that a decline in the value of the American currency is being observed.

The president mentioned that the foreign currency is starting to show signs of stabilization.

Abinader pointed out that the country’s international reserves have increased significantly compared to the levels at the beginning of his administration.

He also emphasized that dollar production from all economic sectors has contributed to the stability of the Dominican peso.

“I am seeing a trend toward the stability of the dollar. Reserves have grown to twice what we had when we started. Every single economic sector is generating dollars,” the president expressed.
