Samil, the young man who received an apartment from Santiago Matías “Alofoke”, explained that he has not moved into the property yet due to the lack of documentation and his preference to live in Guanuma. The family denied rumors of a supposed sale or rental of the property and assured that they keep the keys to the apartment. Samil’s mother indicated that they have been waiting to complete the process related to the documentation before making a final decision.
The apartment, located on a second level, remains empty and unfurnished. Samil’s mother explained that equipping the property requires buying furniture, beds, stove and other necessary items to establish themselves there. Samil prefers to continue living in Guanuma, where he can be close to his mother and continue studying.
Samil’s current situation
Samil acknowledged that he feels comfortable living in Guanuma and that the distance to the apartment represents a difficulty for him due to his studies. His mother pointed out that the young man will finish this year and that moving from the residential area would complicate that routine. Samil thanked Alofoke again for having delivered a property that he considers one of the greatest aids received.
Samil’s income
Samil explained that he still depends partially on his mother, although he earns some income through transmissions on TikTok, Facebook and promotions for businesses. As an example, he revealed that a jewelry store paid him 15,000 Dominican pesos for a promotion. Samil also responded to criticisms from those who claim that he seeks to generate pity to receive help.
Dotol Nastra considered that the family should advance at their own pace and reminded that moving implies assuming new expenses that must be evaluated before making a decision. For now, Samil will continue living in Guanuma while completing his house, continuing his studies and earning income through social media and promotions.
