Summary
Know Your Constitution DR allows you to consult and compare constitutions, codes, and editorial explanations of laws of the Dominican Republic. It does not require registration, does not create accounts, and does not collect on its own names, emails, contacts, location, or personal content.
1. Legal information and connections
The app includes a local copy of the catalog to function without a connection. When there is internet, it consults public resources from orgullodominicano.org and can open official links of the Executive Power’s Legal Consultancy in the browser. Like any web connection, those servers receive technical data, such as the IP address and user agent, in accordance with their own policies.
2. Data stored on the device
- Reading preferences, such as dark mode, text size, and alignment.
- The included or downloaded legal copy for consultation without a connection.
This information remains on the device and is deleted when the app data is deleted or uninstalled. E Turing SRL does not receive a copy.
3. Advertising
The app does not contain ads or integrate the Google Mobile Ads SDK. It also does not request advertising identifiers.
4. Permissions
The app requests access to the internet. It does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, personal files, or notifications.
5. Minors
The content is educational and of general interest. The app is not designed to collect information from minors or offer accounts, messaging, or user-generated content.
6. Legal notice and editorial
Official texts are not created or modified by us. Comparisons, summaries, and plain-language explanations are editorial interpretations of Orgullo Dominicano assisted by artificial intelligence. They may contain errors, omissions, or simplifications and do not constitute legal advice. Always consult the official source and a competent professional. The app is not governmental and does not represent a public institution.
