Political Loyalty, the institutionalist current of the Revolucionary Modern Party (PRM), organized its traditional Christmas and New Year’s gala with great fiestón 2025 in New York. The event, held at the Party House in El Bronx, brought together dozens of militants, sympathizers, and leaders in a festive atmosphere of joy and brotherhood.
Leaders highlight unity and commitment
Headed by Puro Fajardo and Awilda Brito, presidents of Political Loyalty, the attendees shared messages of peace and solidarity. Fajardo emphasized party cohesion, while Brito highlighted the spirit of solidarity of the organization. The vice president of the PRM in New York, Altagracia Soldevilla, represented the sectional president Julio César Mateo “Yulin” and called for strengthening the project of Luis Abinader.
Key participation of deputy Norberto Rodríguez
The deputy of the Dominican Community in the Exterior, Norberto Rodríguez, valued the role of the diaspora in national development. He indicated that unity is a pillar to advance, in a context where more than 2 million Dominicans reside in the US, according to data from the Department of State. This Political Loyalty maintains an annual tradition to reinforce ties since 2020, after the PRM’s rise to power.
Festive atmosphere and support for the president
The ceremony opened with a prayer by Kenia Cabral, director of Culto of Political Loyalty, asking for prosperity for Dominicans around the world. The night included live DJ, dance, buffet dinner, contests, and awards. The presenters chanted “For love of the country, let’s support Luis Abinader”, sealing collective commitment.
- Music and dance animated the evening on Carter Avenue 1880, El Bronx.
- Focus on family, peace, and vision of the future for 2025.
- Institutional reinforcement of the PRM in the diaspora, key for upcoming elections.
The event at the headquarters honoring Winston Arnaud highlights the vitality of Political Loyalty among Quisqueyans in the US. Historically, these galas promote loyalty to the PRM, founded in 2019 as an evolution of the PRD, with Abinader as a central figure since his victory in 2020. Experts in migration emphasize that the diaspora sends remittances for over $10 billion annually, driving the Dominican economy.
This celebration of Political Loyalty not only marks the end of the year, but also reiterates its role in community and party cohesion, projecting hope for the great fiestón 2025.
