According to Sony, this application allows you to “update the controller firmware and fully customize the wireless DualSense Edge from your PC.” The way to connect the controller to your PC remains the same, with the option to choose between a USB or Bluetooth connection. Once connected, the app lets you make the necessary modifications, such as updating its firmware or customizing its behavior.
Unfortunately, there are details to consider. With a DualSense Edge controller, you will be able to make the most of the PlayStation Accessories app. However, for standard DualSense controllers, only firmware updates will be available. Remember that the DualSense is the standard PlayStation 5 model, while the more expensive DualSense Edge is an advanced version that offers superior performance due to being more robust.
