Santo Domingo.- Elsa María Arias, a mother from the Los Mina sector, expressed to De Último Minuto, visibly moved, what it means for her and her family to be able to open a bank account during the banking inclusion event “Bancarizar es Patria”, held this Saturday at the Los Mina Sports and Cultural Club by Banco de Reservas.
Arias stated that thanks to the banking inclusion event, she will no longer have to ask to borrow bank accounts so that her son, who lives abroad, can send her monthly deposits—a simple gesture of immense value to her and her family.
“Thank God, I am no longer going to have to use borrowed accounts for my son to deposit money for me,” Arias expressed.
Along these lines, she praised the process as organized and fast, and invited all interested parties to take advantage of the event taking place this Saturday.
Bancarizar es Patria is an initiative that promotes financial inclusion in the country, giving more Dominicans the opportunity to access the services and benefits offered by Banreservas without major requirements or paperwork.
