Santo Domingo.- The Minister of Sports Eng. Kelvin Cruz led the handover of a multi-purpose roofed facility this Thursday morning to the La Javilla Academy located in the Los Mamayes sector in Santo Domingo East.
With this delivery, there are now 27 public works handed over in just thirteen months of management, which equates to two works per month.
The objective of our administration is to fill the country with works so that our children and young people have decent facilities where they can practice sports and thus keep their bodies and minds healthy. I take this opportunity to announce that in the coming days we will be delivering 10 new multi-purpose facilities in Santo Domingo East.
For his part, the president of the La Javilla League, Jhon Carmona, thanked Minister Cruz for his support so that today this project is being inaugurated, which will not only serve the hundreds of children who play baseball there, but also for the use of the community.
Carmona emphasized that he will continue to elevate his father’s legacy through the VIVO CARMONA foundation
