The actor and comedian Kenny Grullón and his wife Ana Rossina reported that they are safe after an attempted robbery at their residence on Friday. The couple, with children, confirmed that the episode resulted in material losses and minor physical injuries, but that everyone remains united and out of danger.
Incident at the Dominican home
According to the family, an intruder entered the house during the morning and managed to take a cell phone and a ring. It is said that the man entered through the kitchen area and that Kenny Grullón was sitting in the living room when the incident occurred.
The intruder was detected by security cameras and the family called the National Emergency and Security Assistance System 9‑1‑1. The man left before authorities arrived.
Authorities’ response
The National Police, with the support of the Central Directorate of Investigation (Dicrim), went to the residence to handle the case. Police spokesperson Diego Pesqueira confirmed that Grullón is fine and that the circumstances of the entry are being investigated.

In a message signed by Ana Rossina and Grullón, the couple said: “We are living through an extremely difficult and distressing situation in our home. I write with the impact still fresh, but with a heart full of gratitude: Kenny, our children and I are safe.”
The statement thanked the assistance of 9‑1‑1, the National Police and Dicrim. It also highlighted the importance of family: “Beyond material losses and minor physical injuries, we are whole and together.”
