Hearing initiative in Santo Domingo Este benefited 120 people this Friday with free hearing aids, in a drive led by Mayor Dío Astacio alongside the Directorate of Social Development and Health of the Santo Domingo Este City Hall.
The event was carried out in partnership with the Salas Foundation, the Luz en el Fondo del Alma Foundation, Unidos Creciendo en Familia (FUNCAF), and the Lobos Brigade from Mexico, according to information released by the source media. The objective was to facilitate access to hearing devices for residents with hearing loss.
Hearing initiative with evaluation and delivery
The gathering included specialized evaluations and the fitting of the devices on the esplanade of the Dr. José Francisco Peña Gómez Municipal Palace.
