From October 22 to 25, a group of young players from the competition academy of Padel House Club will travel to Colombia to take part in a sports exchange that will combine training sessions, competitive matches and interaction with players from other environments. The experience, which will be hosted at Alfa Padel Club, aims for participants to broaden their knowledge of the sport, learn other training methodologies and face playing styles different from those they usually encounter in their preparation.
This type of meeting allows young players to test their skills in new conditions, identify areas for improvement and gain experience against different opponents. It also offers the possibility to learn from other sports dynamics and strengthen abilities such as autonomy, responsibility and teamwork.
An enriching experience
During their stay, the players will hold training sessions and will have the option to take part in a tournament, whose registration will be handled directly at the host club’s facilities. The trip is part of Padel House Club’s sports planning and is coordinated by its sports director, Rafael Pérez, together with his staff.
Learning beyond the court
In the training stages, contact with other players and sports environments can provide tools that complement everyday training. Facing new rivals, adapting to different playing styles and learning other preparation methods helps young players broaden their perspective and develop greater confidence in competition.
The exchange also fosters interaction and learning among participants from different contexts, aspects that are part of the sports experience and personal growth. Padel House Club, owned by Dominican athlete Joelle Schad, member of the Sports Hall of Fame, runs its youth competition program under the sports direction of Rafael Pérez.
With this trip to Colombia, the players will have the opportunity to complement their regular preparation with an international experience that will allow them to acquire new learnings and get a close look at other dynamics of padel.
